Even though life with Schizophrenia is unpredictable, certain simple routines can provide needed stability and comfort. Many individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia spend time by performing small tasks such as making their bed or stretching. They often feel in control as a result of this act of routine and accomplishment.

A regular schedule for meals, medications and sleep will assist them in achieving greater clarity and emotional steadiness, as well as a feeling of stability. Engaging in light physical activities (such as taking short walks), listening to and playing music and writing in journals reduce stress. It helps to ground their thoughts and create a connection with themselves and their environment.

Each of these small habits contributes to building confidence and gradual balance. What are your views on this and anything you people can add?
