Living with schizophrenia disorder sometimes make day-to-day life feel heavy or else overwhelming. And small moments of pleasure like enjoying a favorite meal or listening to music can provide meaningful relief. These reminds us that life still holds some positive experiences.

Some intentionally create mini-routines and this is just to capture joy. They opt for morning stretches, short walks or journaling some positive observations. Others rely on hobbies or creative outlets. They claim that these gives them a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

Finding joy does not mean symptoms disappear. It can also make difficult days more manageable. It is simply about carving out pockets of calm as well as satisfaction amid the chaos.

Do you have small routines? Do you have activities to bring you joy? How do you ensure that you notice these even during tough days?

Share below your own strategies. Others can be inspired in discovering their own sources of happiness.

Simple things like drinking a hot beverage, listening to your favourite tune, or getting some fresh air for just a short period can slow us down. I try to make these activities as easy as possible so that they are calming for me and not overwhelming.
