How Technology is Changing Schizophrenia Treatment

Lately, it has been noticed that technology is changing schizophrenia treatment ways. Some good apps are available, though I don't know them in particular, to remind people to take their medicines, online therapy sessions and so on. Even VR tools are being used for managing symptoms.

I want to know whether anyone here has tried using tech in their treatment. It can be like telehealth, therapy apps or even online support groups. I also want to know whether technology actually help or it made things complicated.

I personally think that it is great that help is becoming easier to reach these days. However, sometimes I even wonder if too much of technology takes away the human connection. Human connection is highly important in recovery.

I would like to know what others here think and whether the changes are for the better or we are losing something along the way.

I had a friend, Sameer, who used therapy apps and online sessions, and they really helped him stay on track. But over time, he said it felt a bit cold, like human touch was missing. Technology can guide us, yes, but healing still needs warmth, presence, and real connection.
