Different things work for different people when symptoms start rising. Some feel better with medication while others find comfort in talking to someone. What about you? What helps you in calming down fast? Your vote is valuable. It will help others with a new idea.

I usually find that talking to someone helps me in calming down faster and particularly if I can share what is going on right away. Music, games or other distractions also help if I am alone.

A benzo does the job for me but it's difficult to get them prescribed in my country. Failing that, distracting myself on a game or something is the next best thing.

I usually calm down fastest when I step aside for a minute and focus on my breath. I also text someone I trust because talking grounds me quickly. Everyone has their own thing, so I hope people vote honestly.
