Different things can trigger symptoms. It differs from person to person. Some struggle more with stress while others with isolation. Some with loud environments while others with changes in routine. Cast your vote as it may help others to feel understood.

Even one night of poor sleep can make us feel harder by several times. Thoughts become more confusing then. Emotions swing faster and paranoia may even spike. Stress and overstimulation simultaneously add to the challenge. It feels like ability to cope is almost gone when I am sleep-deprived. Keeping a consistent sleep schedule is an effective way to manage symptoms.

Triggers are highly individualistic. Seeing others’ experiences can give us a sense of connection and can reassure us that we are not alone. Understanding our own triggers can be hugely empowering, as it prepares us for what may happen and allows us to cope better with them.
