Cognitive remediation is basically targeted exercises for attention, memory, planning. It has a growing evidence base. It shows real improvements in cognition and daily functioning when paired with rehabilitation. Its success rate is backed by large multisite trials and reviews. It is an evidence-based add-on to meds and therapy.

Remote or computerized delivery is increasingly feasible. This has turned up as a great help to those who can’t travel to clinics. It is of course not a miracle cure, but it can be a practical way to rebuild skills for those who are struggling with concentration, planning or work/study demands.

Please share below whether you have tried brain-training or cognitive therapy programs? If yes, what changes you have noticed in remembering, planning or staying focused?

After utilizing various cognitive training apps, I have experienced gradual, yet noticeable increases in cognition. I find it easy to recall tasks, organize daily work with reduced anxiety, and increase the length of concentration.
