Do you use coping techniques along with medication

It is true that medication often stabilizes some major symptoms. It is simultaneously also true that many still rely on daily coping strategies to manage stress or intrusive thoughts. Some best practices include breathing exercises, journaling, meditation and engaging in art or music.

Many people also point out having a structured routine as it helps them in preventing overwhelming thoughts. Others find relief in talking to someone very close to them and who understands them. Some even connects with supportive communities online.

What are your daily practices and how these have helped in staying balanced?

I rely upon my routine to guide me through stressful times. Before I begin my day, I take several minutes to meditate and reflect on whatever I wrote down in my journal that day. I also reach out to someone I trust to help me deal with my worries.
