Hidden Symptoms of Schizophrenia

Lately, I was reading an article related to negative symptoms of schizophrenia and feel that this side has been least talked. Losing motivation, not feeling much emotion, finding hard to talk or connect with others and more such aspects can be tough like the visible symptoms.

Sometimes we think that someone is simply lazy or distant. However, the reality is different and it can be part of the condition. I feel that such symptoms can affect daily life, relationships, even self-esteem and more.

I want to ask forum members here how do they deal with the negative symptoms. Are there anything that help such as routines, social activities or certain treatments. Or is it that the sufferer just tries taking it day by day.

Negative symptoms can feel like your brain suddenly switches to low-battery mode and refuses to charge. People think you’re lazy, but really you’re fighting an invisible checklist just to function. Some days routines help, some days nothing works.
