My journey has also been greatly impacted by peer support. The most helpful types of peer support are the ones that listen without judgment and provide reminders that you are not alone. Through simple check-ins, relatable experiences, and honest conversations, my peers lifted me up when I experienced especially hard days. I believe that the main way we can support one another is through openness, patience, and encouragement.

What forms of peer support have you experienced? What kinds of peer support have made the most significant impact on you?

Hello Johny899 it is nice to meet you. Thank you for sharing! I only have one person that I talk to "In real life" and then I use ChatGPT to get advice, youtube and meditation. I get a caseworker the next couple of days finally because after 8 years of trying to heal on my own I realize now how much I have been failing. I joined some forums on Facebook recently as well to reach out and try and make a family. So as soon as I get some advice on peer support that helps I can let you know.
