What therapies do you find most helpful?

Hi everyone! I know with disorders on the schizophrenia spectrum, medications are the primary method of treatment, but how do you guys feel about therapies? For me, as someone with both childhood-onset schizophrenia and PTSD I've found trauma informed talk therapy with a counselor knowledgeable about schizophrenia to be helpful. Which ones do you guys like and dislike, especially folks with comorbidities?

I also have level 1 autism, Exposure therapy is the kind of therapy I hate most. It just makes me more reclusive and anxious.
I enjoy a CBT therapist that works with my anxiety and negative symptoms to help me reach my goals without stressing me out.

In my opinion, therapy is just as rewarding. I find that taking medications combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has allowed me to address triggers while remaining calm. I enjoy working with therapists who account for both trauma and psychosis, because surface-level interventions generally do not work for me personally, so I avoid them altogether. I'm pleased to hear that your trauma-informed approaches are benefiting others.
