Mental health workshops offer practical tools. These are like emotional regulation, stress management and coping techniques for symptoms of racing thoughts, mood shifts or paranoia. The workshops are usually led by psychologists or trained facilitators. These are sometimes even led by peers who have lived through similar experiences.

The workshops can be in-person or can be online. These often include interactive elements such as journaling, roleplay or mindfulness exercises. Many participants in such workshops claim that they have learned simple but powerful techniques. They have learned techniques like breathing exercises or grounding methods to use daily.

What makes workshops helpful? It is the collective learning environment. Sharing strategies with others and hearing the way different people adapt may lead to better self-awareness.

Let us know whether you have attended any such sessions. What techniques worked best for you? Let us share and learn together.

The workshops are extremely beneficial to me. The sense of support from learning along with other people is incredible. Learning breathing exercises and ground techniques were my biggest take-aways from these workshops. I found the simplest of tools helped ease the most difficult times I was having.
